Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
